At Castle Opticians we offer a wide choice of contact lenses from daily disposables, ideal for occasional wear or full time wear, to monthly replacement contact lenses, some of which can be worn overnight.
Being independent Opticians means we are not tied to any one manufacturer and we will fit and supply you with the most appropriate lenses for your visual needs, lifestyle requirements and budget. We are able to supply lenses from all of the most popular brands such as Acuvue, Focus Dailes and My Day, through to specialist lenses that are bespoke for each patient. There is no restriction on what contact lens products or services can be offered to our patients. We provide a full aftercare service, where after the initial consultation, we see patients regularly every six to twelve months. We offer no obligation free trial for all new fittings.
Our extensive range of contact lenses include:
These can be worn on a full-time basis or for occasional wear. They are ideal for schoolchildren for social and sports use. Their ease of use and health benefits make them very popular for all age groups.
Fortnightly and Monthly Soft Lenses
These cost less than daily disposables and are used in conjunction with lens care solutions for overnight cleaning.
Multifocal or Varifocal Contact Lenses
These lenses, which are available in daily, fortnightly and monthly form, are prescribed to people over 40 who don’t want to wear spectacles all the time. They enable you to see at all distances, eliminating the need for bifocals or reading glasses.
Tinted/Coloured Contact Lenses
These are for cosmetic use as well as for vision. We can provide lenses for a dramatic change or for a subtle new look.
Extended Wear Contact Lenses
These are soft contact lenses that allow your eyes to breathe all day and all night. They can be worn for up to 30 days continuously.
Many of the above lens types are now able to correct patients with astigmatism.
Gas Permeable Contact Lenses
These are a rigid type of contact lens used to correct more irregularly shaped eyes as well as standard prescriptions. They also need daily cleaning but last longer than soft contact lenses.
Please feel free to contact any of our contact lens branches to arrange for a consultation with Dina.
