At our South Benfleet practice, our resident Optometrists are Harpreet Rai, Tim Turpin and Meera Thakker

Three years ago the practice relocated from the unit next door. This has enabled us to add an extra consulting room, develop our contact lens practice, and increase our spectacle frame display area. The practice has a digital fundus camera and a state of the art Thompson Test Chart. We also offer Optical coherence tomography (OCT) as part of our full private eye examination. This advanced light based instrument enables us to examine a cross section of the retina at the back of the eye which can help us to detect glaucoma and retinal diseases, such as age-related macular degeneration and diabetic eye disease. The practice is approved by the DVLA for vision screening for drivers.

Our resident dispensing optician is Lianne Wiles. She has the expertise to advise patients on the best choice of lenses for their visual needs and match that with a frame from our large range of spectacles. The practice has over 1000 frame styles in stock ranging from the creations of the some of the worlds greatest designers such as Tiffany, Tom Ford and Rayban through to Castle Opticians great value for money own brand range.

The practice offers a full contact lens service, including contact lens trials. As independent opticians we are not tied to one lens manufacturer, so we can recommenced the best lens for your visual needs , lifestyle and budget.
